3 Quick Tips for your LinkedIn Profile

I still meet a lot of small business owners with incomplete LinkedIn pages and fewer than 200 connections.

If that’s you, I’m here to help.

Even if YOU don’t intend to use LinkedIn very often (yet), your prospects and clients might be looking there for you today. Be sure your profile puts your best foot forward with these 3 simple tips:

Do this:

  1. Post a professional profile photo of you. (No candid snapshots!)
  2. Complete your profile using LinkedIn’s step-by-step tool.
  3. Expand your network with confidence.

Knowledge without action is pointless.

Do this: Find 30 minutes to an hour on your calendar and schedule it as time to work on your LinkedIn Profile.

Thanks for the tips! I would add that, as in any marketing situation, you consider your target audience in photo choice and profile wording. Sports writers are going to want a different image projected than accountants, for example.
